This command allows you to draw steel rolled sections available on the Israeli market in a simple and quick way.

The list of profiles / sections available in the program database:

1. Activate the command "Profile 2 D".

The Profile Dialogue Window is brought out onto the screen.

Description of the Profile Dialogue Window:




A. Pop-up menu of the list of all the profiles available in the program database.

B. Drawing view: cross section view, side view, top view.

C. Profile size/number.

 

D. Block or polyline method of profile producing.

E. Scale defining of the drawing.

F. List of geometrical and physical characteristics easy to use in static analysis.
G. Profile length defining in millimeters.

H. Profile length defining by the start and end point.

 

2. After the final selection of the profile kind, size and scale and pressing OK, a profile block attached to the cursor is brought out onto the screen.

3. The base point is selected and the profile is inserted into the drawing.

 

Note 1.

After using the command Profile 2D, a cursor moved over the received profile brings out a hyperlink with full description of this specific profile.

 




This command enables quick and easy drawing of steel rolled sections available on Israeli market in three- dimensional view.

Profile 3D Dialogue Window description:





A. Pop-up menu of the list of all the profiles available in the program database.

B. Profile size//number.

C. Profile length defining in millimeters.

D. List of geometrical and physical characteristics easy to use in static analysis.

E.  Profile length defining by the start and end point.

F. Free selection of the layer in which the profile is supposed to be drawn.

 

2. After the final selection of the profile kind and size and pressing OK, a profile in the three-dimensional view attached to the cursor is brought out onto the screen.

3. The base point is selected and the profile is inserted into the drawing!

 

Note 1.

 

After using the command Profile 3D, a cursor moved over the received profile brings out a hyperlink with full description of this specific profile and its weight in kilograms for the convenience of the static analysis.

 

 

This command lets in a simple and quick way assign a position number to any drawn profile and bring out

the profile name into the drawing.
